I'm Ullas, a CS student.
My recent work has focused on databases and realtime applications. In Last Seat Lab, I used one shared seat to explore competing reservations, transactions, caller identity, and what a browser can honestly show when its connection drops.
That led me into SpacetimeDB's source. I independently tested a WebSocket error-handling change and opened a PostgreSQL logging pull request. I also proposed a CLI fix in Evalite.
I use Codex as my daily driver. I want to understand the important paths, check the results, and be able to explain the decisions myself.
Selected work#
- Last Seat Lab — experiments in transactions, authorization, durability, and realtime state through a shared seat-reservation system.
- Other experiments — I've explored different ideas through an AI-news filter, a shared health-ritual app, and a launch-risk scanner, trying different approaches to turning an idea into something people can use.
Outside the terminal, I like photographs, travel, looking at the sky, and being present with the people I care about. I wrote more about that in From nineteen to twenty.
